Influenced by my own life experiences, my journey as a counselling therapist has been committed to dispelling the stigmas, myths and negative perceptions held by society towards mental health and well-being as well as what it means to be an empowered human being. My years of experience, competency in my craft, attention to being fully present, being empathetic and compassionate enable me to create a respectful, grounded, safe environment for clients to delve into the issues they are struggling with. My therapeutic work is dedicated to empowering clients in such a way that they feel more connected to their authentic humanness, have confidence about their inner resources and strengths, as well as their ability to impactfully move forward in their life’s journey in a more meaningful and fulfilling way.

I am committed to helping clients accomplish their specific therapeutic goals and to become the author of their own life’s journey by drawing on my years of integrated therapeutic experience and extensive knowledge of evidence-based practices. These incorporate Mindfulness Based Somatic (body based) Therapy. Sensory Motor Processing (Trauma Informed Therapy), Analytic Psychology, Systemic Family Constellations Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Bereavement, Grief, and Loss Interventions Therapy, Expressive Therapy and Applied Suicide Interventions Skills Training.

I have worked for the last 19 years across a wide range of demographics from children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, diverse cultures and communities, including first nations peoples and the LBGTQIA+ community. Furthermore, she supports other counselling practitioners through ongoing clinical supervision in their work.

I am registered with The Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and have assisted numerous clients across a diverse spectrum of health and well-being issues, specialising in life transitions, grief and loss, gender, and trauma related issues.

Additionally, I have lectured to both students and other professionals in tertiary settings, conferences, has facilitated professional developmental workshops as well as many support groups for individuals who have been struggling with varying kinds of issues from bereavement, grief and loss, family trauma to anger management and behavioural change.
